The Hogs play Missouri - as always - with the home game at the end of the regular season, but they also have to deal with an improved Florida team on the road. On the plus side, it’s coming after a week off and it’s the only time they have to leave the state after mid-October.

Yeah, the back half of the schedule is loaded with home games. There’s a problem, though, for a BRUTAL stretch in the first part of the season. BYU isn’t going to be easy, but that’s part of a three-game home run to kick things off. The Hogs don’t get a true home game from September 16th until October 21st - a four game stretch.

At least they get is all out of the way. They have to deal with LSU, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, and Alabama all away from home, but again, the payoff comes over the back half of the year.

There are two ways to look at that four game road trip - the date with Texas A&M is technically at a neutral site in Arlington, Texas. Forget about winning anything big without taking down at least three of those four games, and that’s probably not happening. On the flip side, those games - and Florida - are tough, so the away dates might as well be pushed out of the way.

That means they have to own the home games, and they should be able to do that. Getting to six wins and a bowl should be a given, but it might take a while to get there until the November home games kick in.
