If you’re one of the teams that misses the big guy from the other division, you catch a massive break.
It’s not like the Big Ten West teams dealing with who has to face Ohio State, Penn State or Michigan, or the SEC East teams that have to try dodging Alabama or LSU. With a nine-game conference schedule in a 12-team league, Pac-12 teams only miss two teams from the other division.
For example, Oregon not only plays USC, but it has to go to LA to do it. However, it gets Colorado – the relative easy team from the division – and and Arizona at home. Who do the Ducks miss? UCLA and Utah.
