It’s going to be a different sort of year for the American Athletic Conference – forgetting about the global pandemic for a moment.
With UConn leaving the nest, the conference is down to 11 teams, and it’s going to blow off the East and West divisions of the recent past. This year, the top two teams out of the 11 are going to square off for the AAC Championship, which leads to the potential of one massive nightmare if our predictions come true.
Not everyone plays everyone else. This year, Navy doesn’t play UCF or Cincinnati, and that might just matter.
