It’s No. 1 in the nation in total defense, No. 1 in time of possession, No. 1 in pass defense, No. 1 in turnovers lost - with just one fumble against Northwestern two weeks ago - and it all works with no real drama whatsoever so far.

Combine that with the penalties kept to a relative minimum, and the team doesn’t make enough mistakes to give UMass a break.
