What’s Going To Happen
It”s the Fremont Cannon game that might not make or break the UNLV season, but after beating San Jose State last week, closing with a two-game winning run and beating Nevada would be fantastic.
Nevada has won four straight and it’s going bowling, but losing to UNLV for a second year in a row would be really, really annoying.
The Wolf Pack might not be getting enough out of its offense, but it’s winning because of a defense that stepped it up over the last few weeks.
But can they handle the UNLV ground game?
The Rebels are 3-1 on the year when taking off for 200 yards or more, and Nevada is 0-3 when allowing 300 yards. All three of those losses were on the road – the Pack are at home.
UNLV will come up with an inspired effort on the road, but that won’t be enough. Nevada will finally breathe easier with a late scoring drive, and it’ll be off to grab the Cannon.
