They have the backs in Ohio transfer O’Shaan Allison among others to make up for the loss of star Jevon Jackson, the receivers are there to spread the ball around, and the attack that had one of the FCS’s most efficient passing games should keep on pressing.
A fringe top 25 team, Austin Peay should have its moments to hit a few big plays, but …
Why Louisville Will Win
The Louisville secondary is loaded with veterans.
It’s got a ton of talent to go along with the experience, and it all starts with a tremendous pass rush that’s not stopping.
Ashton Gillotte is one of the nation’s best playmakers behind the line, and he’s not alone for a D that was No. 1 in the ACC against the run was excellent at getting to the quarterback.
For all of the positives, Austin Peay will likely have yet another problem in pass protection.
