What’s Going To Happen
This was supposed to be when North Texas was going to make its big push for the West title, but instead, it’s hanging on to hopes of bowl eligibility for dear life.
The passing game has been fine, but it hasn’t been dominant. The offense as a whole has been good, but it hasn’t been consistent. The problem has been a defense that can’t seem to come up with a key stop.

On the flip side, Louisiana Tech can’t clinch the West with a win – UAB is still in the mix – but it can come close.
The Bulldogs haven’t beaten anyone but Southern Miss, but they’re doing what they’re supposed to against bad teams. The passing game is solid, the offensive line has been great, and they’re going to show the offensive consistency that UNT won’t.
The Mean Green will throw well, but they won’t be able to keep up as Tech will control the tempo of the game throughout.
