The Colonels are loaded with experience. Most of the top parts are back on offense, and the defense that was so great at getting into the backfield last year and so amazing on third downs gets nine starters back. Louisiana Tech’s offensive front struggled and should once again need a little time to get up and going - if it happens at all.

Get off to a hot start. Nicholls was fine when games went on, but it was outscored 100-35 in the first quarters of games. Louisiana Tech hit the transfer portal hard - especially for the defense - with a ground game that should be able to negate the Colonels’ advantage at controlling the clock.
