The American Athletic Conference has an interesting week.
Tulane and North Texas should put on a show, Memphis has to hit the putt against Charlotte, and with Army off, Navy has to represent the AAC service academies with a showdown against Notre Dame.

Charlotte (3-4) was playing well before getting crushed by Navy thanks to five turnovers. It's about to have a slew of problems on the lines against the Memphis (6-1) pass rush and running game. The Tigers need a half, and then they get rolling.

You ready to get the scoring rolling? North Texas (5-2) might be a bit better on defense than it was last year, but it got rocked over the last two weeks. Tulane (5-2) is great at keeping the chains moving, it's ultra-efficient in the passing game, and it'll have to keep on pushing against a Mean Green air show that will come up with at least 300 yards.

East Carolina's (3-4) defense wasn't bad, and then it fell off the map allowing 100 points over the last two weeks to Charlotte and Army. It has to limit the mistakes, but as long as the offense can get working early, it shouldn't have a problem against a punchless Temple (2-5) that has a hard time consistently putting up points.

UConn (4-3) is too good at home against the mediocre. The offensive line has taken over with a strong running game that Rice (2-5) won't be able to overcome. The punchless Owls don't have a downfield passing game to come back after the Huskies take over early.

UTSA (3-4) pulled its season up out of the nosedive and got back in the mix for a bowl game with a good win over Florida Atlantic. The defense has been great on third downs and the pass rush is strong. Tulsa (2-5) doesn't have the pop or offensive explosion to push through - it hasn't scored more than 24 points against an FBS team. UTSA's defense is awful, but it'll hold up late.
