2022-2023 College Football Playoff Projections
This should be a whole lot cleaner than this actually is, but they are projections so we’re, you know, projecting.
Here are the calls to come up with this.
1. Until proven otherwise, we’re going with the belief that a 12-1 or unbeaten Power Five conference champ will get in.
2. The call is that TCU will lose the Big 12 Championship. However, if it’s unbeaten it’s absolutely 100% in the College Football Playoff.
3. USC won’t be as 12-1 Pac-12 champion, which leads to the call of three Power Five champions with no more than one loss.
4. Clemson will go 12-1 with an ACC championship, and Georgia and the Ohio State – Michigan winner will be unbeaten.
5. The committee – with all the one-loss or unbeaten Power Five champs out of the mix – will go with Tennessee. However, 12-1 or unbeaten Big 12 champion TCU would get the Vols’ spot.
