Auburn Tigers College Football Preview 2021: Top Players
Best Auburn Tigers Offensive Player
RB Tank Bigsby, Soph.
The Tigers needed someone to step up and take over the running back gig, and the 6-0, 208-pound superstar recruit did exactly that.
He got banged up along the way and ended up missing the bowl game against Northwestern, but he still finished with 834 yards and five touchdowns. Used as a receiver and kickoff returner, he’s got the burst, the size, and the ability to be used even more – now he has to stay in one piece.

3. WR Elijah Canion, Soph.
4. RB Shaun Shivers, Sr.
5. QB Bo Nix, Jr.
Best Auburn Tigers Defensive Player
CB Roger McCreary, Sr.
A solid all-around defensive back with NFL upside, the 6-0, 190-pounder came up with 45 tackles with three picks and six broken up passes in his second full year at the job. He’s a good-enough hitter on the outside, but he’s at his best getting after the ball when it’s in the air with 17 pass breakups in his two seasons.
2. LB Zakoby McClain, Sr.
3. LB Owen Pappoe, Jr.
4. S Smoke Monday, Sr.
5. DE Colby Wooden, Soph.

Top Incoming Auburn Tigers Transfer
CB Dreshun Miller, Sr.
He came to West Virginia as a JUCO transfer, missed a year with a knee injury, and then came back big with a strong 31-tackle season with an interception and eight broken up passes. Now he’s likely going to be the No. 2 corner on the other side of Roger McCreary if all goes well.
Fast and with 6-1, 192-pound size, he’s got the potential to move around and end up at safety if needed, but he brings a physical style of play to the corner job.
