Point Total: 47.5
– Bet on this, BetMGM latest line
It’s No. 1 on the list, but there’s a reason to still be a wee bit wary – the point total went down because Panther starting quarterback Kenny Pickett is questionable at best.
That, and considering that both bring two of the best defensive lines in college football makes the 47.5 a harder push than it might seem after coming down for 52.5.
Each of the last three Miami games – including the 42-17 loss to Clemson – combined for way over 50 points.
As good as the Pitt defense is, it allowed 30 points to NC State and 31 to Boston College over the last two weeks. There’s a danger that the Panthers slow things down a bit and play this in the 20s, but Miami should force the scoring pace to be up a bit.
This week, this season, no one should be getting a 47.5 point total.
