It’s a new year, a new team, and there’s a new head coach in place at UTSA. However, there’s still a whole lot of work to do to get the offense up and rolling at a functional level after scoring just 244 points last season. Texas State’s offense looked okay last week in a loss to SMU, but if that game couldn’t get to 57 – it was a 31-24 final – it’s asking a whole lot for this one to hit the mark.
4. Georgia Tech at Florida State

Just how much do you believe in the Georgia Tech offense? The FSU attack isn’t likely to hang 40 up on the board, but it should easily get to 24 and should push past 30. Georgia Tech failed to score more than 28 in any game last year and didn’t get to 20 six times. 52 isn’t a whole lot, and it’ll get close, but the scoring will likely stall late.
3. Tulane at South Alabama

Will the South Alabama offense that showed up in the 32-21 win over Southern Miss get off the bus this week against Tulane? The Jaguars aren’t going to get to 32 again against a tougher Tulane team, but they can push past 20. Tulane scored 30 points or more nine times last season and should be every bit as potent.
