4. The Minnesota passing game was fantastic

All year long, Tanner Morgan was one of the nation’s most efficient and effective passers, hitting on deep ball after deep ball for a program that was supposed to be more about grinding and pounding than bombing away.

Auburn’s secondary was gettable. It allowed more than 200 passing yards per game and got hit for more than 300 yards by Alabama, LSU and Texas A&M, but it only allowed 5.9 yards per pass and picked off eight throws in the last six games.
