With this loss, Harbaugh is now 47-18 in his five-year run at Michigan. It’s actually a stronger five years than you might think, but it’s very good. It’s not sensational, but it’s very good.

Harbaugh doesn’t lose to the Indianas and Marylands of the world. Out of those 18 losses, 17 of them are to teams that finished with ten wins or more, and the one outlier was to an eight-win Iowa team in Iowa City on a walk-off field goal.
