There’s a method to how Texas A&M rolls.

It’s offense isn’t slow, but it’s deliberate, and it helps control games – the Aggies led the SEC in time of possession.

To its credit, that worked to keep the Oklahoma State offense on the sidelines and to pull this off – the Aggies owned the clock for almost nine more minutes – but it also seems to ruin the team’s rhythm.

Without a ton of depth at running back, there weren’t a slew of options to rotate into the mix, and the third down conversions were there, but the O – again, this is the style, and the team won – takes away any sort of tempo or groove.

In the big games, it just seems too hard for Kellen Mond and the passing game to get going.
