4. Oklahoma State’s defense did what it could

Oklahoma State was 87th in the nation in total defense, and 113th in the nation in pass defense. And no, this wasn’t an amazing year for Big 12 passers.

Texas A&M had 195 yards of total offense a few minutes into the fourth quarter.

A few monster plays by Kellen Mond changed all of that, but for about 50 minutes, the Cowboy defense was able to keep the team in the game and overcome the inconsistencies on offense.
