What’s Going To Happen

LSU isn’t going to slow down now.

Oklahoma has Hurts, it has the offense, and it has one of its best defenses yet under Lincoln Riley, but that’s not going to be enough.

Joe Burrow might be the signature star, but the lines are rock solid, the NFL talent in the defensive back seven is coming off a stomping of Georgia, and the skill parts – even if Clyde Edwards-Helaire is having problems with his hamstring – are unstoppable.

LSU isn’t just the Heisman winner.

And Oklahoma isn’t just Jalen Hurts.

It takes a special team and program to win Big 12 title after Big 12 title on the way to three straight College Football Playoff appearances.

The Sooners will keep up the pace, they’ll even be up for a little bit in the first half, but the LSU offense will be relentless.

Both teams will play at a pace that suits them, and the stars will come out as they put on a whale of a show.

The Sooners will have a few problems with turnovers, LSU will be razor sharp, and after a back-and-forth fight for three quarters, Burrow will hit the one throw needed to break this open.

IT’s not going to be a wipeout, and it’s not going to be a stomping like the SEC Championship was, but LSU is simply going to be a bit more talented and a bit more consistent for a full four quarters.
