This is all for spits, giggles, and entertainment purposes only, however, just in case you dabble …

ACC Championship: Virginia vs. Clemson

The problem for Clemson is that it won’t know quite where it stands. It’ll know who won the SEC Championship by the time it kicks off, and if Georgia beats LSU, then the ACC Tigers are a mortal lock for the No. 2 spot, which might as well be the No. 3, unless …

No, Clemson can’t get to No. 1 unless Ohio State loses. No matter what, it’s going to want to continue to make statements, but that 28.5 number is a wee bit high. Yes, the Tigers have won each of their last seven games by 31 or more, but Virginia is just plucky enough to keep this from getting out of hand. Clemson can and will dominate, and Virginia is just good enough to put up the two touchdowns needed to cover.

American Athletic Conference Championship: Cincinnati vs. Memphis

Having picked Cincinnati to beat Memphis in this for the better part of a month, this is no time to back off. The Bearcat quarterback situation is still a bit of a question mark, but think of it this way – Cincinnati lost last week by ten, and that’s without Desmond Ridder playing, and with Memphis needing to win to stay alive.

Memphis isn’t a lock to go to the Cotton Bowl with a win, but … it’s a lock to go to the Cotton Bowl with a win – it doesn’t need to come up with a blowout. The world is giving you 9.5 points with the Bearcats, and they might win outright.

Big 12 Championship: Baylor vs. Oklahoma

NO ONE is considering the very, very, very, very real possibility that Baylor wins this and ends up as the No. 4 seed. It’s been assumed that Oklahoma rises up, rocks, and then is in a debate when it comes to Utah.

If Baylor wins, it’ll have a better championship victory than the Utes will – if Oregon doesn’t win the Pac-12 title – and it’ll have a win over Oklahoma State. Utah will only have the one win over a CFP-ranked team, if that happens.

Oklahoma flipped the switch against Oklahoma State last week, and it showed last year in the Big 12 Championship win over Texas what it can do when its fully focused – winning by 11 – but you can get this at Baylor +9.5. It’s worth the chance that the Bears are just that good to keep this close.

The 65 point total is set at what the final score was in the first go-round – OU won 34-31. This won’t be as much of a shootout.
