Michigan State isn’t all that good, and there’s a bit of a concern about the weather, but has there been anything about Maryland football over the past month to suggest that it’s ready to do something functional?
Granted, the Terps went on a run of Minnesota, Michigan and Ohio State, but they weren’t even competitive – the 38-7 date with the Wolverines was as close as they’ve come to bringing a battle.
But 54-7 against Nebraska? At home? In the finale on Senior Day?
The Terp passing game has died, the rushing attack isn’t coming up with any big bursts, and the O hasn’t scored more than 15 points in five of its last six games and six of its last eight.
Oh yeah, and Michigan State is 5-6. It has to win this to become bowl eligible.
If the team that has lost by more than 22 in six of its last eight games doesn’t make it seven of nine, it’s not your fault.
