Utah (4-1) vs. Oregon State (2-3) Game Preview
Why Oregon State Will Win
The Utah defense – despite the loss to USC – is still fantastic, and it’s still physical, but it can be hit by a balanced attack. Oregon State has just that, at least lately.
The Beavers are playing well. They’re getting the offense moving. they’re competitive, they’re on a run of two wins in the last three games and two of their losses were by three points.
The running game has stayed strong, but the passing attack has been the consistency key. It struggled and sputtered against Hawaii, but Jake Luton has been bombing away over the last few weeks with several good deep plays down the field for an O that’s thrown four touchdown passes or more in three of the five games.

What’s Going To Happen
The Utes are going to keep the ball for way over 35 minutes. There’s going to be at least a 12 minute time of possession disparity, and in this game, that’s going to matter. Oregon State has the explosion and the offense to keep up a little bit, but it’s just not going to have the ball enough.
