The Cardinals are unbeaten with a strong defense that’s been great at getting into the backfield to go along with the third-best offense so far in the FCS.

The O might have struggled a bit in the overtime win over Mississippi Valley State, but the defense lived behind the line. A week after dealing with Clemson, and with the SEC opener against Auburn coming up, there’s a chance an unfocused and slightly beaten up A&M team could have a few problems on the offensive front. Why Texas A&M Will Win

Lamar has a slew of fumbling issues. As if going against an Aggie team that needs a passing game tune-up wasn’t enough, having problems holding on to the ball should turn the game into a rout in a big hurry.

The Aggie secondary has five picks so far – although, just one came against Trevor Lawrence – and the defensive front should keep the Lamar ground game from generating much of anything.
