FIU (0-2) vs. New Hampshire (0-1) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
At some point, FIU has to start playing better.
Getting blown out at Tulane wasn’t a plus, but that’s a strong Green Wave team with the potential to win the American Athletic title. But to drop a home game to WKU to start the Conference USA season was unacceptable.
The Golden Panthers are good enough to win the conference title, but that’s not happening unless the offense starts to do something right. QB James Morgan is banged up, but it’s the ground attack that has to start working.
New Hampshire lost its only game of the year in a slugfest with Holy Cross. The Wildcats couldn’t stop screwing up with three turnovers and too many misfires on third downs.
FIU is much, much better than it’s showing so far, and this is the week it starts to change, at least defensively. The offense will still sputter a bit too much.
