Breaking down and analyzing the 2019 Texas State Bobcats football schedule
2019 Texas State Football Schedule Analysis
– New head coach Jake Spavital gets to start out his era with a lovely trip to Texas A&M. It gets better with Wyoming coming to San Marcos, but it’ll still be an issue, especially before going to SMU. The Nicholls State game should keep the Bobcats from going 0-for in the non-conference slate.
– The Sun Belt season starts out against Georgia State at home, but TXST has to go on the road to face Appalachian State from the other division. It gets Troy at home, and it catches a huge break with Georgia Southern not on the slate. The Coastal Carolina game is on the road to end the regular season.
– The two nastiest West games aren’t just on the road, they’re back-to-back. There’s a week off to prepare, but going to Arkansas and Louisiana still isn’t fun, as part of a run of four of the last six games on the road. The ULM and South Alabama games are at home.
