2019 Tulsa Golden Hurricane Football Schedule Analysis
– It’s a nasty non-conference schedule. Going to Michigan State is a problem to kick things off, but it’ll be a nice payday. That’s followed up by a long trip to California to face San Jose State. It’s a winnable game, but that’s followed by hosting Oklahoma State – it’s hardly going to be a true home game. Dealing with Wyoming won’t be a picnic, either.
– The AAC season starts out at SMU after getting a week off to rest up. There’s a week off before getting Houston at home, and Memphis has to come to Tulsa, too. Navy is a home game, but the other divisional game is at Tulane.
– Playing UCF from the East isn’t a plus, but at least it’s at home. Going to Cincinnati, though, is a massive problem, and the other interdivisional game is at East Carolina to close out the regular season. At least there’s no USF to face.
