2019 Virginia Tech Hokies Football Schedule Analysis
– The season kicks off right away with a big interdivisional ACC road game, going to Boston College. The other date with the Atlantic is at home against Wake Forest – there’s no Clemson, Florida State, NC State or Syracuse.
– The non-conference part of the season starts in the first weekend of September, hosting Old Dominion before going to Furman. Not exactly extending themselves, the Hokies host Rhode Island in the middle of the season. However, they do have to go to Notre Dame – but it’s after a week off.
– The division games aren’t easy, starting with a trip to Miami in the first weekend of October. The Georgia Tech and Virginia battles are on the road, but Pitt has to come to Blacksburg. North Carolina and Duke are home games, too.
