2019 TCU Horned Frogs Football Schedule Analysis

– The season doesn’t start until mid-September. The Horned Frogs get a scrimmage against Arkansas-Pine Bluff before an unnecessary week off. And then comes the trip to Purdue which is tough, but it’s not like playing Ohio State last year. The SMU game shouldn’t be that big a deal to close out the non-conference slate.

– TCU gets to warm up in Big 12 play, too, starting out against Kansas at home. Going to Iowa State won’t be easy, but there’s a week off to rest up right after it. The team will need it with a trip to Kansas State to follow, and then Texas, and then a date at Oklahoma State.

– There’s a brutal run of three road games in four weeks, going to Stillwater, then hosting Baylor, and then potential shootouts at Texas Tech and Oklahoma to deal with before closing with West Virginia.
