2019 Syracuse Orange Football Schedule Analysis

– The Orange open up the season dealing with Hugh Freeze and Liberty on the road, and follow it up with a dangerously fun game at Maryland. The Western Michigan game shouldn’t be too much of a problem, and neither should the battle with Holy Cross to close out September. However …

– In between the non-conference games is the Atlantic showdown against Clemson in the Carrier Dome. The NC State, Louisville and Florida State games are on the road, but Boston College and Wake Forest go to Syracuse. All things considered, it’s not that bad an Atlantic slate.

– The Orange miss Miami and Virginia Tech from the Coastal. Pitt is a home game and the date at Duke comes after getting a week off. Overall, there’s a run of three road games in four dates in the second half of the season, but that week off breaks things up.
