2019 Stanford Cardinal Football Schedule Analysis

– The Cardinal have the nastiest start to the season in college football. Defending Big Ten West champ Northwestern comes to Palo Alto to kick things off. Then the Pac-12 season starts at USC, and then comes the trip to deal with the Bounce House and UCF, and then it’s the showdown that might decide the North title against Oregon. If that wasn’t enough, there’s the Notre Dame game at the end of the regular season. If that wasn’t enough …

– Going to Oregon State isn’t awful, but it’s a third road trip in four weeks, and it’s a brutal sandwich game between Oregon and Washington. At least the showdowns against the Ducks and Huskies are at home. The Washington State game, though, is on the road.

– Along with facing USC, the Cardinal gets UCLA, Arizona and a trip to Colorado against the South. That’s not bad – it’s a good thing to miss Utah and Arizona State. At least the USC game is out of the way early.
