2019 Penn State Nittany Lions Football Schedule Analysis
– There’s easing into the season, and there’s what Penn State gets with Idaho and Buffalo – it’s not nearly the same Buffalo as last year – coming to Happy Valley. The team should be more than tuned up for the visit from Pitt to follow.
– There’s a week off to get ready for the Big Ten season, kicking things off at Maryland. And then comes two dates against the West, hosting Purdue and going to Iowa. The other one is at Minnesota, but that’s not until November after getting a week off. There’s no Wisconsin, Northwestern or Nebraska – there’s no complaining about and of that.
– The midsection of the season it the key with three road games in four dates. The Michigan game is at home, but that’s before going to Michigan State. The Ohio State game is in late November, and it’s in Columbus. Fortunately, the season closes out easy with a home game against Rutgers.
