2019 Michigan Wolverines Football Schedule Analysis

– There’s no Notre Dame to start the season this time around – that comes later. It’s a home game against the Irish, but it’s not until late October as the lone date in Ann Arbor in the midst of a brutal run to three road games in four weeks. Middle Tennessee won’t be a total pushover to kick things off, but the danger will be dealing with Army and its killer option attack the week after.

– There’s a week off before the start of the Big Ten season, and the Wolverines will needed it before making the trip to Wisconsin. The Iowa game from the West is at home, and the other interdivisional matchup is at Illinois. There’s no Nebraska or Northwestern.

– Okay, Michigan, here you go. Yeah, the Penn State game is on the road, but there’s a week off before hosting Michigan State, and Ohio State has to come to Ann Arbor two weeks later. Get to this part of the season with the Big Ten title hopes still alive, and it’ll be up to winning at home.
