2019 Miami Hurricanes Football Schedule Analysis

– The Hurricanes start out the Manny Diaz era by seeing exactly how good they really are right out of the gate, playing Florida in Orlando. Bethune-Cookman will be a light scrimmage, and Central Michigan shouldn’t be an issue in Miami Gardens. After a week off in mid-November, the Canes go up the road to face Butch Davis and FIU.

– That road game at FIU isn’t really a road game, but it is part of a run of four away games in the last five. Going to defending Coastal champ Pitt stinks, especially following up with a road game at Florida State. The other Atlantic game is at home against Louisville.

– Along with playing Pitt on the road, Miami has to start the ACC campaign at North Carolina and finish up the regular season at Duke. At least there’s a really, really nice midseason home stretch against Virginia Tech, Virginia, and Georgia Tech. The team leaves Florida just once from the start of the year until October 26th.
