Breaking down and analyzing the 2019 Kansas State Wildcats football schedule.
2019 Kansas State Wildcats Football Schedule Analysis
– The Chris Klieman era starts out with a few tune-ups against Nicholls and Bowling Green before getting the first real test. Mississippi State managed to wack around the Wildcats in Manhattan last season – a win in Starkville would put the new world of K-State football on the map.
– The open dates come way too early. The first one is okay – it’s just before the start of the Big 12 season – but the next one is just a few weeks later. The team has to go on a seven week run to close things out, but it also goes from September 28th until November 9th without leaving Kansas.
– There’s a November run of three road games in four weeks, but one of them is at Kansas. The Oklahoma game is at home, and so are the dates against West Virginia and Iowa State, but going to Texas and Oklahoma State will be tough.
