Breaking down and analyzing the 2019 Kansas Jayhawks football schedule.
2019 Kansas Jayhawks Football Schedule Analysis
– The Les Miles era kicks off relatively easy with Indiana State to ease into the fun, followed up by a date with Coastal Carolina. However, the payoff comes just before the start of the Big 12 season with a trip to Boston College. That will be the measuring stick. KU won’t be expected to win, but it needs to be competitive with what’s coming next.
– Texas Tech and Kansas State are the only teams in the final ten games that didn’t go bowling last season, and both of them have to come to Lawrence – this is where the Jayhawks have to come up with something solid going into an early November week off.
– Five of the nine Big 12 games are at home, but the mid-November road dates at Oklahoma State and Iowa State are rough before closing out against Baylor. There’s a week off in between the Oklahoma and Texas games, but the date with the Longhorns is on the road.
