Fearless Predictions Results So Far
Straight Up: 10-2
ATS: 5-6-1
Over/Under: 5-7

Auburn (12-3) at Texas A&M (7-7)

Game Time: 7:00 ET
Network: ESPNU

The Aggies broke their three-game losing streak with a strong win over Alabama, but taking down Auburn would kick start the season again. Can they handle the high-powered Tiger attack? Texas A&M can’t shoot from the outside, but Auburn blocks a ton of shots and owns the interior. The Tigers will hit from three, A&M won’t. Auburn is 0-2 on the road over the last month, but that stops now.

Prediction: Auburn 80, Texas A&M 71
Line: Auburn -5.5, o/u: 150

Kansas State (12-4) at Oklahoma (13-3)

Game Time: 7:00 ET
Network: ESPN2

Winners of two straight – including a defensive battle against Iowa State – Kansas State is on a wee bit of a roll. Oklahoma has lost its last two road games, but it’s back home where it’s been unbeatable over the last month. Can Oklahoma handle the pressure and the Wildcat defense? Yes – the Sooners play a little D, too. Kansas State doesn’t shoot well enough, and it won’t get any second chance points.

Prediction: Oklahoma 68, Kansas State 63
Line: Oklahoma -5.5, o/u: 129

Iowa (14-3) at Penn State (7-10)

Game Time: 7:00 ET
Network: BTN

Iowa had a clunker against Purdue a few weeks ago, but that’s been it for the misfires. Winners of eight of its last nine, it’s going for just its second road win of the season against a desperate Penn State team that’s lost four straight. The Nittany Lions can hit from three, but they don’t make enough shots overall with the Big Ten’s worst scoring attack. Iowa leads the nation in free throws – it’ll be a +10 overall on the line. The Hawkeyes pull away late.

Prediction: Iowa 71, Penn State 64
Line: PICK, o/u: 142.5

Iowa State (12-4) at Texas Tech (15-1)

Game Time: 9:00 ET
Network: ESPNU

Just when Iowa State seemed like it was on a roll, it lost two straight tight games to take a major step back in the Big 12. With three of the next four games on the road – including at Kansas – this is a must-win over a hot Red Raider team on a five-game winning streak.

Iowa State doesn’t turn the ball over, it doesn’t make a whole slew of mistakes, and it knows how to crank up the offense. But it has to go against the amazing Red Raider D that leads the nation in field goal percentage allowed. The Cyclones are a dangerous matchup for Texas Tech, but at home, the devastating defense just barely slips by the devastating offense.

Prediction: Texas Tech 68, Iowa State 66
Line: Texas Tech -5, o/u: 132

Houston (15-1) at SMU (11-5)

Game Time: 9:00 ET
Network: ESPNews

Houston has to get back on the winning track on the road after losing to Temple last week. The Cougars are fun, they put the ball up from the outside, and they play a whole lot of defense inside and out. SMU overcame its rocky start to win six of  its last seven, but it has to prove it can beat a team this good. It’ll try to match Houston on the threes, but it won’t be able to do it. The Cougar defense is fantastic against teams that shoot from the outside, and SMU’s isn’t.

Prediction: Houston 71, SMU 67
Line: PICK, o/u: 136.5
