Fearless Predictions Results So Far

SU: 42-15
ATS: 31-24-3
O/U: 25-29-1

Michigan State (17-2) at Iowa (16-3)

Game Time: 7:00 ET
TV Network: FS1

On a roll, Michigan State is destroying everything in its path with a 12-game winning streak including a 90-68 win over Iowa in early December. The Hawkeyes have won ten of their last 11 with the offense cranking it up.

Iowa is fantastic on the free throw line – leading the nation in free throws made – but more than that, it can crank up the scoring. Can it rebound? It’s good enough to not get destroyed. However, Michigan State’s offense is great at getting into shootouts. The Spartans will survive, but they’re going to get a whole lot more of a fight than they dealt with six weeks ago.

Prediction: Michigan State 82, Iowa 78
Line: Michigan State -4.5, o/u: 157

NC State (15-3) at Louisville (13-5)

Game Time: 8:00 ET
TV Network: ACC Network

NC State has to get it all back going against losing two of its last four, and it has to do it on its third straight road trip. Louisville has won three in a row, including the shocker at North Carolina. The Cardinals have the firepower, but they have to be consistent.

Louisville shoots just well enough to keep up the pace, but it doesn’t do enough defensively to screw up the air-tight Wolfpack. NC State will get more easy point and will be tougher defensive from three. It’ll win, though, and transition points.

Prediction: NC State 77, Louisville 74
Line: Louisville -5.5, o/u: 155

Gonzaga (18-2) at Santa Clara (11-9)

Game Time: 11:00 ET

Santa Clara got its doors blown off by Gonzaga 91-48 the first time around. But the Bulldogs are destroying everyone on their nine-game winning streak, and overall, they lead the nation in scoring margin, averaging a margin of victory more than 23 points per game.

The Broncos are finally at home after going on the road for three straight games in four of the last five, but that’s not going to help too much. They don’t rebound well enough, and they don’t create enough defensive pressure to bother the high-powered Gonzaga offense that can score any way it wants to.

Prediction: Gonzaga 84, Santa Clara 68
Line: Gonzaga -20, o/u: 151
