Fearless Predictions Results So Far

SU: 17-5
ATS: 14-8-1
O/U: 10-11-1

Michigan (17-0) at Wisconsin (11-6)

Game Time: 12:00 ET
TV Network: ESPN

Wisconsin just can’t get this thing going, losing four of its last five games, but not it’s going big game hunting against the nation’s No. 2 team. Michigan isn’t just unbeaten, it’s clamping down game after game with a stifling defense. The Badgers know a little something about that.

The Wolverines don’t turn the ball over, and they don’t make a whole slew of big mistakes – they don’t give away free points on the line. The Badgers  aren’t rebounding like they normally would, but they don’t make big mistakes, either. There might not be enough Wisconsin offense, but the team is way, way, way overdue for a big performance at home. This will bog down into a defensive punching match, with the Badgers pulling it out late.

Prediction: Wisconsin 67, Michigan 65
Line: Michigan -3, o/u: 127

North Carolina (13-4) at Miami (9-7)

Game Time: 12:00 ET
TV Network: ESPN2

North Carolina bounced back from its loss to Louisville with a win over Notre Dame, and Miami got over a three-game losing streak with a win over Wake Forest.

It’s this simple when it comes to facing North Carolina. Can you rebound? And the answer with Miami is a resounding … nope. The Hurricanes can hit from three, but they won’t be able to keep up with the UNC attack – and they’ll get destroyed on the boards.

Prediction: North Carolina 81, Miami 66
Line: North Carolina -6.5, o/u: 157.5

Arkansas (10-6) at Ole Miss (13-3)

Game Time: 1:00 ET
TV Network: SEC Network

Ole Miss crashed at home against LSU after stung Auburn and Mississippi State, but now it gets a struggling Arkansas team that lost three straight and isn’t getting enough from its defense.

The Rebels might not do enough on the boards, but the Hogs are dead last in the SEC in rebounding margin. Arkansas is active, and it doesn’t make a whole lot of mistakes, but it’s not going to slow down the Ole Miss offense once it gets on a second half run.

Prediction: Ole Miss 83, Arkansas 72
Line: Ole Miss -6.5, o/u: 153.5

Alabama (11-5) at Tennessee (15-1)

Game Time: 2:00 ET
TV Network: ESPN2

On an 11-game winning streak, Tennessee is playing as well as anyone in college basketball right now. The offense is dominating and explosive, and it’s running teams off the floor. Alabama has lost two of its last three games after getting past Kentucky two weeks ago.

Is Alabama tight enough and careful enough to withstand the pressure? The Crimson Tide are last in the SEC in steals, and Tennessee moves the ball around too well. The Bama D won’t be able to keep this close.

Prediction: Tennessee 95, Alabama 70
Line: Tennessee -13.5, o/u: 154.5

NEXT: Kansas (15-2) at West Virginia (8-9)
NC State (14-3) at Notre Dame (11-6)
Indiana (12-5) at Purdue (11-6)
Wake Forest (8-8) at Virginia Tech (14-2)
