2019 Army Black Knights Football Schedule Analysis

– There’s just one game against a Power Five team, and it’s a fun one. The Black Knights go to Michigan early in the season, and that’s about it for the nasty games. With two games against FCS teams – Morgan State and VMI – the Knights have to make sure they get to seven wins to assure bowl eligibility.

– How easy is this slate? Nine of the 12 games are against teams that didn’t go bowling. Michigan, Tulane and Hawaii are the only ones who got to play more football last season. Best of all, there’s a week off before dealing with the Green Wave, and a week off before going to Hawaii.

– The Air Force game is on the road, and as always, the Navy showdown comes late in the season after a few weeks off. It’s a fun late run – there’s a week off, then the trip to Hawaii, and then a week off, and then the Midshipmen.
