Breaking down and analyzing the 2019 Arizona Wildcats football schedule.
2019 Arizona Wildcats Football Schedule Analysis
– Arizona kicks things off early with a Week 0 trip to Hawaii to enjoy. There’s a week off to get back into the swing of things before a scrimmage against Northern Arizona, and then comes the fun shootout against Texas Tech before getting another week off to get ready for the Pac-12 season. After playing the Rainbow Warriors, the Wildcats don’t face a 2018 bowl team again until October 12th.
– Beating UCLA in the Pac-12 opener is a must with three of the following four games on the road. Getting by Colorado on the road would be a big plus, too, with a brutal run of Washington, at USC, and at Stanford to follow.
Making matters worse, the Cats not only get the Huskies and Cardinal from the North, but they also have to go to Oregon in mid-November. At least there’s a week off before dealing with the Ducks, and getting Oregon State helps.
– The USC game might be on the road, but getting UCLA and Utah at home in South play is a break. However, the showdown against Arizona State is on the road.
