1. Really … who has the hardest ACC schedule?
Memo to Mack Brown: GOOD … (bleep)ing … LUCK with THAT.
Seriously, find the sure-thing win on the schedule until the Tar Heels play Mercer …
ON NOVEMBER 23rd.
To start? South Carolina, It’s in Charlotte, but uh-oh.
Miami comes to Chapel Hill. And then there’s a trip to Wake Forest. Appalachian State has to be a home win, but the defending Sun Belt champs are loaded – again.
How does September finish? Clemson.
But there’s a break in October, right? The month starts out at Georgia Tech, and it’s followed up by going to Virginia Tech two weeks later.
Duke and Virginia are at home, but now we’re talking late October/early November. The last two games against FBS teams? At Pitt, at NC State.
In all, North Carolina has to play 11 teams that went bowling last season.
