3. Bryce Perkins is fantastic
You want redemption? This was it.
Virginia QB Bryce Perkins was great against Virginia Tech, but his fumble ended the game in a loss to the rival. The defeat was hardly his fault, but even so, he made amends in a big, big way.
The Arizona State JUCO transfer was exactly what the Cavaliers needed, and he closed out the season with a bang, completing 22-of-31 passes for 208 yards and three touchdowns, and he ran 15 times for 81 yards.
Now, let the hype begin. Just a junior, he’ll be pumped up as the leader and star for an ACC team that was able to piledrive a good SEC program. If he can keep doing this, and the Virginia defense can keep doing that, this will be one dangerous team in 2019.
