Georgia Tech finished with 206 rushing yards –  almost 130 fewer yards than normal for the nation’s No. 1 ground game.

It had the ball for just over 29 minutes – almost five minutes fewer than normal for the nation’s No. 6 team in time of possession.

But Minnesota was tougher, more efficient, and far more effective, running for 260 yards and owning the game throughout, starting with a 13-0 first half lead for what would be all it would need.

Mohamed Ibrahim took over the game, running 31 times for 224 yards and two scores. Pounding throughout, he showed off some wheels with a 57-yard dash, but with good run after good run controlling the clock.
