Michigan, what the hell was that?
Where was the defense that had the attitude throughout the season that destroyed Wisconsin and destroyed Penn State?
Where was the toughness for the running game that was so solid throughout the year?
And now, after allowing just 149 points in the first 11 games, the D gave up 103 in the final two.
There were early mistakes, missed chances, and not enough plays from the offense to overcome the defense that obviously didn’t have its same mojo from earlier in the season.
Not having Rashan Gary mattered, but not having Devin Bush in the linebacking corps truly hurt. The team needed that leader and sideline-to-side-line producer against the run game that was so dominant, but no one will remember that or care.
