Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl Preview & Prediction

5. Feleipe Franks had his day

Remember what Florida was dealing with.

Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins might have thrown at will on the Michigan secondary, but SMU was the only team to hit the 200-yard mark. Wisconsin’s Alex Hornibrook and the passing attack completed 35% of its passes, and Michigan State hit 25% of its throws.

Penn State, Notre Dame, Nebraska – none of the passing games worked.

The much-maligned Feleipe Franks wasn’t amazing, but he didn’t throw any picks, tossed a touchdown pass, and ended up with 173 yards throughout the air, 74 on the ground with a touchdown, and a big bowl win for Florida.

The fan base might want more out of the position – and they’re right – but No. 13 got the job done.
