4. Was Auburn really this good all along?

Where was this fire from Auburn when it went up against UCF in last season’s Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl?

It was the big question coming into this game. Auburn was mediocre all season long, and was it going to give a poop about playing in one of the supposedly lesser bowl games?

56-7 at halftime. This was the team that showed off the attitude, the speed, and the talent all across the board that was missing at times throughout the year.

To be fair, other than the loss to Tennessee, it’s not like there were any cheap losses – no dogging the Tigers for dropping games to Alabama, LSU, and to Georgia and Mississippi State on the road. But this has to be a wee bit bittersweet for Auburn fans. There wasn’t that much fun from a team that should’ve been this explosive on a consistent basis, and this begs the questions …
