8. The Oklahoma Starting Quarterback

I know, boooooooooooooo.

This is cheating not making a definitive call on one player, but there are too many unknowns outside of the Oklahoma starting quarterback almost certainly being good enough to hang around the Heisman chase all season long.

Will Kyler Murray really go play baseball? If not, he’s in the top two on this list.

Will Lincoln Riley be the Oklahoma head football coach, or will he be the new head man for the Dallas Cowboys, or Green Bay Packers, or Cleveland Browns, or Jacksonville Jaguars, or …

Will Spencer Rattler be ready to go right away? He already has the title of the Next Superstar Oklahoma Quarterback, but he’s just a true freshman, and he needs to be introduced to a Big 12 Championship weight room.

Will Austin Kendall be good enough? At least publicly, it wasn’t a 100% complete and total given that Murray was going to be the starter after spring ball. Kendall proved he’s a good enough passer – he just doesn’t have Murray’s wheels – to make the O sing.

No matter who ends up getting the keys to the car – expect it to be Kendall – it’ll be a fun ride.
