UTSA (3-7) vs. Marshall (6-3) Game Preview
What’s Going To Happen
Marshall isn’t done in the Conference USA title chase, but it needs to win out against UTSA and FIU, and get a little bit of help along the way. For now, getting the seventh win to all but ensure a bowl game – there might be too many C-USA teams for not enough slots – would be impressive enough.
UTSA would just like a win of any kind.
A massive disappointment, the Roadrunners have lost four straight ensure a losing season, can’t score, and are getting blown out in ugly fashion.
UTSA has managed just seven points or fewer in three of the last four games, and have scored 20 points or fewer in eight of the ten games. The big offensive improvement isn’t going to kick in now.
Marshall’s run defense won’t give up a thing, and the pass rush will hang out in the UTSA backfield all game long. It’ll only take about 17 points for the Herd to put this away, and they’ll get that in the first half.
Be mad, Herd fans, if UTSA gets more than ten points. Be mad if this isn’t easy.
UTSA just won’t score.
