Ten Best Predictions Against The Spread: Week 11

1. North Texas at Old Dominion

LINE: North Texas -14, o/u: 65.5
ATS PICK: North Texas

It seems like every time the expectation is there for North Texas to rise up and rock, it falls flat.

With the West title dreams gone, the team was still able to gear it up and bum slay in a 41-17 win over Rice. And now, it’s rested.

The two week off factor this late in the season will matter for a team like this.

It’s been able to do well on the road, but it struggled against UTEP and lost to UAB. This week, though, rested offense is going against an Old Dominion team that’s also had two weeks off to get ready.

An Old Dominion team that just got destroyed by Middle Tennessee 51-17.

Beating WKU on the road is no big whoop, and even that was close against a team that’s done nothing. In the last three games against decent teams – Middle Tennessee, Marshall and FAU – ODU has lost by a combined score of  145 to 70, or an average of 48 to 23.

This should be a shootout, and Old Dominion will unleash a good enough offense to make this fine, but North Texas is the much, much better team with the much, much better offense.
