South Alabama (2-6) vs. Arkansas State (4-4) Game Preview

Free daily ATS lock pick just released: ‘100% confidence release!’

What’s Going To Happen

This wasn’t how it was supposed to go.

Arkansas State was expected to dominate the Sun Belt and be close to closing out a spot in the conference title chase. Instead, the defense has been a disaster, and the offense hasn’t always been able to pick up the slack on the way to three losses in the last four games.

It’ll get bowling – it needs to win two of the last four games – but it has to stop USA first.

The Jaguars don’t have enough of an offense so far without a running game and with way too many turnovers.

But can they stop Justice Hansen and the ASU passing attack? Yeah, but the running game will go off.

USA has allowed 250 rushing yards or more in their last four games against FBS teams, and ASU has kicked it in on the ground with over 200 yards in each of their last two games. Hansen has been great, but freshman RB Marcel Murray will be the star with his third straight 100-yard game.

The Red Wolves aren’t going to go wild, but they’re going to catch a break defensively against the punchless Jaguars that don’t move the chains.
