This is all just for spits, giggles, and entertainment purposes only. However, just in case you dabble …
In the final game of the season for Arkansas, expect this to be a wild shootout against Missouri. The total is a manageable 60, and while the Tigers should be way too much offensively for the Hogs, the 23 should be reachable, too. Don’t be shaken by the Arkansas loss to Mississippi State – the offense will work better this week, even in a blowout loss.

You see what The Citadel did against Alabama last week? Of course the Crimson Tide won in blowout after deciding to try in the second half, but the Bulldog option attack hit Bama for the most rushing yards allowed all season long. Now imagine a Georgia Tech option offense that’s sharper, stronger, crisper, and can throw a little bit.
Georgia will get through this. It’ll take the running game to get it done in the second half, and there will be some rough spots, but the Dawgs are going to get rolling in time not to blow it before the showdown in Atlanta next week. Giving up the 17 isn’t too bad.

Florida, you’ve had a terrific season. There’s a ton of hope for the future under Dan Mullen, and all things considered, you’re happy. But losing to Florida State in the same year you’ve lost to Kentucky – as good as everything else has been – isn’t going to sit well.
The line was nicer at five, and now it’s up to seven. You don’t want anything to do with this. FSU and its offense have nothing to lose. The Gators will win, but it was a better world at five.

Alabama. Don’t overthink this. Don’t try to put any weird rivalry spin on it. Don’t look for something that’s not there. If Auburn pulls this off, it’s because the Tide totally melted down.
Alabama. Think of it this way. This is a game this program cares about. Now the team is actually going to try harder. The 24 won’t be an issue.

If you have a firm grip on this Tennessee-Vanderbilt thing, congratulations. Both teams need this, both teams are going to bring the big plays in the big spots, and both teams are going to have the pressure on from the start.
Pick one side definitively, and you’re probably right. The line isn’t moving from Vanderbilt -3.5. I’ll very, very sheepishly take the Vols and the points.

South Carolina got roasted in a few big games, but it just seems like it should be able to hang with Clemson, just because the offense is good enough to not get destroyed. Nah.
However, that 26 point margin is a wee bit large. It’s possible for the Gamecocks to lose big and still cover – which is exactly what will happen.

Oh come on. I know Kentucky has a scoring issue, and I know it’s a rivalry game, and there’s the X factor of the new coaching, etc. But if the UK lines play like they’re supposed to, you know exactly what to do with that 17-point spread.

Not to sound pretentious, but yeah, LSU and Texas A&M will come up with the best SEC game of the weekend. The line has moved up just enough to be annoying, starting out at A&M -1 to now -3.5 – it’s moved a little in the last day or so.
It’ll be a low scoring fight with both defenses taking over. The difference will be the Aggie pass rush at home. LSU might be battle tested, but … stay away. This is going to be air-tight. But if you must pick this game, Gig ’em.
